Historically, Environmental Justice Communities have had their voices silenced and their health concerns dismissed. It’s time for Allegheny County to address this issue. We believe the county should pay special attention to these voices and give extensive time to considering what they have to say. We joined a number of groups to send a letter to Allegheny County asking for more time to consider another permit to pollute in the Mon Valley.
